Certified Apex Small Enterprise (CASE) Program Membership Information

The purpose of the Certified Apex Small Enterprise (CASE) program is for the Town of Apex to recognize and encourage the growth and development of small businesses in Apex by providing a professional designation and an opportunity to market themselves as a certified small business that provides goods and/or services.



The business must:

    • Maintain its principle place of business within the town limits of Apex or within the town ETJ.
    • Be in compliance with all applicable licensing and/or registration requirements.
    • Be operational for profit.
    • Have 25 or less employees (full and/or part time).
    • Be independently owned and operated. (A franchise may qualify if the franchise is operating as an independent entrepreneur utilizing a franchise name only.)


Certification affords a multitude of benefits, including:

    • Personalized business listing on the C.A.S.E. Interactive Map
    • Use of “certified” designation as a marketing tool to generate additional business opportunities.
    • Access to Town leadership and staff through an annual Town Hall open house.
    • CASE Kit with full of marketing materials


 Registration and associated annual fees are as follows:

    • Annual fee for the CASE Program: $25/year. Payment of the annual fee is due within 10 days of official application approval. Businesses will be notified via email how to remit payment.
